People

Navigator Financial Planning is a family business owned by David and Gail Crozier. By engaging Navigator to look after your affairs, you will have the peace of mind of knowing that those who are caring for your interests share the same values as you.

David Crozier

David CrozierDavid has provided professional wealth management advice to his clients since 1994. As a client, you will come to appreciate his investment expertise and honesty, and his ability to make the complex simple. By choosing to work with a small number of wealthy clients, David can focus on helping you realise your lifestyle and financial goals, successfully and with minimum risk.

David started Navigator Financial Planning in 2004 with a view to serving the financial planning and wealth management needs of a limited number of discerning clients, who value his expertise, but primarily the peace of mind and confidence in their financial futures provided by Navigator.

David was the first fee-based financial planner in Northern Ireland. He was also the first Certified Financial Planner (CFP) in the Province and was in the inaugural group of Chartered Financial Planners, all of which demonstrates his extensive technical knowledge, especially in investments and inheritance tax.

Segment 7

Introducing successful entrepreneurs to smart advice

Segment7 is the only independent national organisation of highly-qualified financial planners, dedicated to coordinating the complex financial planning requirements of successful business owner managers and entrepreneurs.

David Crozier heads up the Segment7 team within Navigator Financial Planning, specialising in working with the successful owner-managers of small and medium-sized businesses. As such, you will already be financially successful, but may be time poor, and need a hands-on expert to help you with your financial planning strategies so that you, personally, get the most out of your business, and have the time and space to get on with the things you enjoy most in life.

Segment7 itself does not provide investment advice, as this is provided by the member firms such as Navigator.

EBIS

The investment management business in the UK continues to provide massive increases in wealth. Unfortunately, most of this is transferred from investors’ pockets to those of the fund management industry itself in the form of bonuses, commissions, fees and other expenses. The evidence suggests that investors are largely wasting their money in the vain pursuit of "out-performance".

Evidence Based Investment Solutions (EBIS) was formed in 2008 by nine people who each run their own high quality independent wealth management boutiques across England, Northern Ireland and Scotland, representing over £150 million of funds under management. The purpose of the group is to put the case for a smarter way of investing and to provide a central resource for sharing our investment philosophy with a wider audience. This philosophy is based on evidence from academic research around the world.

The group came together through a shared view of how investment management in the UK needs to change.

EBIS is also an ongoing research and development organisation, meeting regularly to share best practice ideas and processes between our businesses.

EBIS itself does not provide investment advice, as this is provided by the member firms such as Navigator.
