If you are in a final salary pension scheme and earn more than £130,000, you stand to lose quite a lot of extra Income Tax because of changes to the way in which pensions are taxed. Have a look here at the effect the changes have on Civil Servants, but the principle is the same for any final salary pension - NHS, teachers, or large private sector schemes.
